Wet the hair and bar thoroughly. Glide the bar directly over the scalp and hair, or work it between wet hands to build a rich, creamy lather. Massage gently across the scalp and through the lengths, adding more water as needed to help the lather move easily through the strands.

For longer, thicker, or more textured hair, work in sections to ensure even cleansing and conditioning.

Finding Your Best Timing

Begin by allowing the lather to remain on the hair for approximately one minute, then rinse thoroughly. Adjust the timing during future washes based on how your hair responds:

Fine, oily, low-density, or easily weighed-down hair: Rinse immediately or allow up to 30–60 seconds.
Most hair types: Allow approximately 1–2 minutes.
Coarse, dry, highly textured, color-treated, or weathered hair: Begin with 1–2 minutes and increase gradually, up to 3 minutes, only if additional softness or slip is needed.

Shorten the time if the hair feels coated, limp, overly soft, heavy, or more prone to flyaways. Increase the time gradually if the hair still feels rough, tangled, resistant, or in need of a separate conditioner.

A separate conditioner may not be necessary for many hair types.

After use, place the bar on a well-draining soap dish and allow it to dry completely between washes. Store away from standing water, direct spray, heat, and prolonged humidity.

KAVÉRA Hair Ritual is a concentrated solid cleanser and conditioner designed for external use on the hair and scalp. Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Keep the bar dry between uses to support firmness and longevity.
